being a regular idiot, i locked my keys in my car. waah. i was distracted because he was talking on the phone and i wanted to go inside and i was sort of hungry and did i want to make a tea when i got inside, that i just got out of my car and walked away. he got out too, locked his door as usual, and there you have it.
we spent an hour and fifteen minutes. he said of all the cars he’s broken into (like 50), mine was the hardest. which i guess is a good thing… hahah.

im actually thinking about just shutting down and running on autopilot. my feelings dont matter to anyone, so why bother even feeling them?
and im feeling really vulnerable and frustrated.
i feel he keeps mocking me coz m fat.. he knows that i was fatter before..and couple days ago.. he said dont you feel so different now u r so petite u r so tiny now.. i said i was fat before m average now..he went on about how i am thin.. but i know i am not..
and i know most girls would be happy…
probably dont want to hear it, but i seriously doubt that your boyfriend is mocking you. i have the same issue with my boyfriend… any compliment he gives me seems like a veiled joke, like everything is sarcastic. and if i cant see myself as beautiful, as thin, then how can he?
but he does. he sees you as beautiful, all disheveled in the morning, and as thin, even if you swear you’ve gained a pound. its about seeing you thru his eyes, and even if you cant, no matter how hard you try, just accept his compliment. its hard not to let your insecurities own you, but you’re perfect to him. dont give your ex-boyfriend anymore power over you by devalueing yourself as a human being. you are beautiful, you are thin, you are amazing and full of worth.
ive found that the best trick with compliments is to just take them, even if you dont believe them. just say thank you. its called being gracious and humble, and you dont have to negate or invalidate what they are saying about you. you know that friend of yours that you often tell is beautiful, but she doesnt think so? or that really attractive guy you think is so hot, but he doesnt agree? and how frustrating it is when you pay someone a compliment, because you truly mean it, and they swat it away? its the same thing for when your boyfriend - or anyone - says that kind of stuff to you.
so just say thank you. and you’ll find that someday you’ll see yourself through his eyes. :)
